Kelowna & the Okanagan
TV mounting in Kelowna, done right the first time.
Custom TV wall mounting and home theatre installation — with the brackets anchored into structure and every cable hidden inside the wall.
Awarded 2024
Kelowna’s Consumer Choice Award winner.
TV Mounting Kelowna holds the 2024 Consumer Choice Award for Business Excellence — the only TV and home theatre installer in the region to be recognised.
You cannot buy this one. Consumer Choice Award winners are decided by independent market research among local consumers and businesses, not by entering or paying a fee. It is an award for the work.
The test
If it holds me,
it will hold your TV.
Every mount goes into structure — studs, blocking or masonry anchors — never into drywall alone. Wil hangs off them on purpose, because the fastest way to answer “is that thing going to fall?” is to show you it will not. The business is insured, on every job.
“Having the right tools for the job gives you the confidence of a quality installation. Our experience allows us to foresee any issues and plan for an alternative option.”

Meet the owner
Good old fashioned
two-way communication.
The art of mounting a TV or surround sound is unique to every space, so understanding your ideas and your vision is what makes each install a one-of-a-kind job. In today's modern home, feature walls are designed to have a TV installed — sometimes above a fireplace, sometimes inside custom cabinetry.
But not every home is designed the same. TV Mounting Kelowna will visually inspect the area in question for structural support and any other concerns we may have, before we begin.
There is an old saying: “you get what you pay for.” We pride ourselves on the care and diligence we put into your custom TV installation — from choosing the right mount, to understanding your sound distribution options, to properly securing your TV to structure.
The vast range of mounts on the market runs from Costco to Walmart to Amazon. Our responsibility is to make sure you end up with the appropriate mount for your specific application. We discuss the options, we give you our honest recommendation, and you choose.
Understanding your expectations is just as important as you understanding our professional recommendations. By far the best part of this job is the transformation your family gets to enjoy afterwards.

Common questions
Before you book.
Not answered here? Call or text Wil on 604-721-5405 — he would rather talk it through than have you guess.
Can you mount a TV above a fireplace?
Yes — it is one of the most common jobs we do in Kelowna, and most modern feature walls are designed for it. What matters is what is behind the finish and how much heat the fireplace throws. We check for structural backing, confirm the mount is rated for your TV, and where the height would be uncomfortable we will tell you and suggest a tilting or full-motion mount so the screen angles down towards your seating.
Can you hide the cables inside the wall?
Yes. In most cases we run power and HDMI inside the wall to a recessed plate behind the TV, so nothing is visible on the face of the wall. On walls where in-wall routing is not possible — solid masonry, or a wall with no cavity — we will tell you up front and offer a surface raceway that gets painted to match instead.
Do you mount on stone, brick, tile and concrete?
We do. Stacked stone, travertine, tile, brick and concrete all need different anchors and a different approach to drilling — on tile we work to the seam wherever possible so the surface stays intact. Having the right tools for the job is what makes the difference between a clean install and a damaged feature wall.
Are you insured?
Yes. TV Mounting Kelowna carries business liability insurance, and it covers every job we do. It matters more than people expect: mounting a large panel means drilling into your wall and putting real weight on it, and you should never let anyone do that in your home without cover behind them.
What height should a TV be mounted at?
The comfortable rule is eye level from where you actually sit — for most living rooms that puts the centre of the screen somewhere around 105 to 130 cm (42 to 51 inches) off the floor. Above a fireplace it is usually higher than ideal, which is why we often recommend a tilting mount there. We work it out in your room, with your furniture, during the free consultation.
Do you supply the wall mount, or do I buy it?
Either. If you have already bought one we will check it is the right type and rating for your TV and your wall before we use it. If it is not suitable we will say so rather than install it. We can also supply the appropriate mount for your application.
Which areas do you serve?
Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country, Peachland, Vernon, Big White and the surrounding Okanagan Valley. If you are not sure whether you are in range, call or text 604-721-5405 and ask.
How much does TV mounting cost in Kelowna?
Every job is quoted individually, after the free on-site consultation. Four things set the price: the size and weight of the TV, what the wall is actually made of, whether power and HDMI are being run inside the wall, and how many devices need connecting and configuring.
That is why we do not publish a flat rate. A 55″ on a stud wall with a surface cord and a 85″ recessed into stacked stone with in-wall power, a soundbar and three sources are not the same job, and quoting either of them blind would mean guessing — which costs you money or costs you the finish. We look at the wall, then you get the number in writing before any work starts.
